Synchronization Of Blessings

18 “And therefore the Lord [earnestly] waits [expecting, looking, and longing] to be gracious to you; and therefore He lifts Himself up, that He may have mercy on you and show loving-kindness to you. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are all those who [earnestly] wait for Him, who expect and look and long for Him [for His victory, His favor, His love, His peace, His joy, and His matchless, unbroken companionship.”        Isaiah 30:18   Amplified Bible

What a great picture of His love for you every day.  Jesus is earnestly looking for opportunities to pour out His favor and blessing upon us.  He is longing for you to receive all the great things He has for you.  Even when we are closed off to Him because of the coldness of our own hearts, yet He waits for that opening that we might be able to walk into all the good He has for us.  How great is that!  It does not matter how many times I fail Him or let Him down, He is not keeping count nor is He withholding anything from me.  I may be the hindrance, but as soon as I get myself out of the way He has His hand of blessing right over top of me to release that which He has been longing for me to have and to enjoy.

How often do we feel undeserving of His outpourings of love and faithfulness?  But how awesome is it to see Him just waiting for you to line up with His open hand of blessing and favor, that He could release over you His love and goodness?  He has Himself lifted up above you all the time, just waiting until you stop scurrying around in all directions and place yourself back under Him, where He can open His hand and release what He earnestly waits for you to receive.

The verse goes on to say that blessed are those that “earnestly wait” for Him.  It uses the same verbiage for us as it uses for the Lord.  Things are synchronized spiritually when we are not running to and fro, but rather sitting and waiting for Him.  It is the synchronization of blessings!  That is when we are under His outstretched hand of blessing and that is when it opens up.

When are we seated earnestly waiting for Him, when we are looking for Him and His victory?  It is when we are in that quiet place of “unbroken companionship with Him.  Slow down and just lift your head up, see His hand poised over you and His fingers separating as He prepares to release what He has anxiously waited to give you.  See His face of love and acceptance for you and that smile of love for you as His loving blessings fall upon you, His most cherished.
