Frame Your Victories

“By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”    Hebrews 11:3   NKJV

The author of Hebrews tells us that it is only by faith that we can believe that the worlds were brought into existence by the word of God.  The principle is hard to believe with the natural mind because it is telling us that God took things that were not visible and from that created all that we see, feel hear, and experience.  In other words, they were created from the spiritual realm which we can not discern with our natural senses.  We must take it as a matter of faith that God framed everything that exists in our natural realm from that which we can not see (from the spiritual realm) by the word of God.  This is a great lesson we often overlook.

Everything that we experience in this life was created and framed by the word of God.  That is a truth that is obviously important for us to understand as we are prepared for the rest of this chapter of Hebrews, which is thought of as the great faith chapter.  This is preliminary for us to understand that faith of all the ones who will be mentioned, but also for us to operate in that kind of faith ourselves.  With that understanding then we see the importance of this fact that the “word of God made all things”, so let’s examine what that means.

There are two significant truths here because the “word of God” has two important realities from this verse.  First, this is telling us that all creation came from the spoken word of God.  He spoke it and it came into existence from things that were not seen or visible.  This is a great reminder to us of the importance of the spoken word in our lives.  There is a power to the thing that we say and as Proverbs 18:21 tells us in fact, that power of life and death is in the tongue, it is in the very things that we say.  We simply need to look at the creation story to find this truth that Hebrews 11:3 is referring too.  This is the common strand of truth that we find during creation, God spoke it and it became reality,  everything that was created was created by His spoken word.  That means everything that is real to us in this natural realm is only here because He spoke it into existence.  All the universe operates in order because He spoke it.  He framed all things into reality by that spoken word.

So verse three is revealing to us the power of the spoken word of God, but then there is another element of truth here.  “framed by the word of God” is clearly referring to the action of God speaking things into existence, we must also remember that Jesus Christ is the Word of God.  God the Father spoke all things into reality through Jesus Christ.  This is the same example that we should follow in our lives.  The Word is Jesus and we can apply his victories into our lives by speaking the Word.

How did God frame the worlds?  He spoke them into existence through the Word, through Jesus Christ.  How do you frame the victories in your life?  The same way, speak the Word and in so doing, frame your victory!  Frame the victory in your health, finances, relationships and all things by speaking the Word into your situation.  When you speak the Word over your circumstances you bring those things that are unseen into existence.  You are bringing the realities of the spiritual realm into your physical realm.  You may say, I prayed but I did not see the result.  You can not go by what you see or what your senses tell you.  Remember that the victory is framed by things that are not visible.  We can not put our faith in what our senses reveal to us, instead, we have to speak the Word and stand on that Word.  Frame your victories today by speaking the Word over your situation.
